| The Kent Crime Partnerships The Crime & Disorder Act 1998 places a responsibility on Kent Police to work in partnership with other agencies in the furtherance of crime reduction. Therefore, Business Crime Reduction Partnerships are constituted partnerships made up of members from all sectors of the business community working together to reduce crime against businesses. Such partnerships both large and small alike have a real impact on our environment, working conditions, crime and disorder, job creation and investment. There is a nationally recognised standard for these Business Crime Reduction partnerships for instance the Safer Business Award demonstrates that partnerships operate to the highest standards. There is now a mature network of Business Crime Reduction Partnerships throughout the county and representatives of some of the partnerships are working together with Kent Police and Kent KeyLink Limited to manage this unique not for profit county-wide web-based database.
